The SDG Cell at CHRIST (Deemed to Be University) is at the forefront of driving impactful initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through dynamic corporate engagement, the Cell collaborates with organizations to implement CSR programs addressing societal needs like education for underserved communities (SDG 4), clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), and women empowerment (SDG 5). It also provides sustainability consulting services, helping students and clubs integrate eco-friendly practices.

CHRIST (Deemed to Be University) is honorured to be appointed as the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) SDG 5 Hub Chair from January 2025 to December 2027, recognizing its unwavering commitment to advancing Gender Equality. This appointment highlights the university’s impactful contributions, including research through the Center for Social Policy and Research, initiatives addressing systemic gender issues, and support systems like on-campus daycare centers that empower women
